Today I put up my extremely rad surfer Abercrombie & Fitch model. Just adding this art to the wall makes the house feel 10 times more beachy.
I've been spring cleaning in between training my puppy Georgiana (see the tiny white chihuahua on the couch?) She is absolutely adorable and goes well with the decor. Aside from how pretty she is, I had no idea chihuahua's are so much fun.
I hung the Abercrombie & Fitch model canvas because there's been a problem with extreme sunlight glare behind the couch. That messed up my life as a comfy couch computer geek (could not see the screen to well) and so the solution was a perfectly sized canvas that just fit as if custom made. The glare is 100% gone.
We acquired the Abercrombie Model canvas when my daughter worked for them back in her high school days in Palm Springs. So the total cost to help the room be rad was zero which makes it that much more rad.

I would love to decorate (for a living) in San Francisco. Why save all the radness just for myself when so many undecorated spaces need me? And when I get my Google Glass eyewear (because officially I am a GG explorer by invitation from Google) just think of it....
- living in my dream pad in SF
- painting walls for millionaires who haven't any time for all the fuss
- turning homes into radicalness
- while documenting it on Google Glass
- Me and Georgiana 2 designing geniuses in hot demand
- people just throw money at us. we are that good.
In fact, I search San Francisco rental property ads all the time. I see ads that say "$1,900 200 sqft no Kitchen" I think of exactly how I would decorate my bay view pad and all the food I would eat from Bi-rite. I think of all the coffees I would consume at Philz Coffee :-)
and all the flowers... I would buy pretty flowers at the flower market. I think of all the French bread, pastry, cheese, wine and chocolate I would drag home, even climbing up the steepest hills, never complaining even if I was caught in a downpour with gusting winds. I would not complain because I would know that after just one more hill, the rad pad awaits.
I think of all the art shows I would be at every night and all the designing I would do by day. The fact that a one bedroom in San Francisco cost $3000+ does not stop me from dreaming my dream. It just makes me dream more. I think of all the places I would take my Chihuahua and how much she would love wearing all the sweaters I would crochet for her. Anytime we wanted we could just walk over to the best donut shops in SF or dress up fancy and eat Italian food at night. I know a place in North Beach that would even let GG inside (i think.)
well oh well. someday this dream will all come true. Until then I will just have imagine my San Francisco.
